Chandrayan1 success story

It is near about a year back when Chandrayan-1 was on its way. And few days back due to some technical glitches the mission was aborted before it completes full tenure, but before this mission becomes past, it created a remarkable history for Indian space science and International science community.

It gave a true proof of potential in Indian space science. Chandrayan-1 probe founsd traces of water across the surface of large parts of moon,denying all the earlier probe investigations which claimed that our nearest neighbour a dead planet.
It not only showed water presence but also found indication that water is being produced in lunar soils through some natural cosmic process.
This major discovery is much more bigger that earlier Lunar missions after landing of Applloo 11, because after Appollo 11 there were very less dedicated Lunar missions adn even NASA which is now exploring beyond our solar system couldn't detected water traces.

This discovery is reply to all those people who were saying Channdrayan is chimera. It was said that its a worthless project ,this money could have been invested somewhere else.
But the budget of India Lunar project was meagre comparison to other lunar missions and our this small budget project is giving bigger outcomes.
It has added another feather in the cap of ISRO and nations science fraternity.
It has further strengthened and motivated ISRO for its enhanced sequel version and has given boon to India's manned mission to moon.

There are still few who are in opprobrium with this success story, they claim presence of water can not be useful in anyway.It can't be brought down to earth, even man can't survive if water is present there.
But for future prospects this could be beneficial.Though today it seems unfeasible but in future it might become true. For international space stations it could be a boon because water bodies can be utilized for generating oxygen and life supporting ingredients.
Floating space stations can be settled on lunar surface which will reduce the cost of exploration., it can be developed as halt point for future space voyagers.
In near future moon can be used as vantage point to have a global view over earth.

All of us looking forward towards such sci-fi appearing futuristic moon and we as Indian sooner expecting our Tricolor flag flattering on lunar surface.

Pokhran 2 The Myth

After the controversial statements from K Santhanam Former eminent Scientist in past few days revealing the futility of Nuclear Test coducted in Pokhran 1998 has given a turbidity to the scientist community and the political leadership of the nation .

According to the excerpts from the article published by K.Santhanam & Ashok Parthsarthi in 'The Hindu' claims that all five nuclear test conducted were undertaken jointly by BARC & DRDO team which was lead by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam & R. Chidambaram was assigned the task of measuring the sesmic activity of the tests .
The sesmic devices which were placed at many points in the device shaft 7 out of radius of 2.5 km. The sensors & instruments were caliberated hundred times to ensure the yield of the explosion..

But as Dr. Chidambaram's statement post explosion was"The post shot radioactivity measurement on samples extracted from test site was showed siginificant activity"
The word significant activity was very cruicial according to K.Santhanam, he says that he must tell the exact level of activity instead of merely saying that.
As we know these tests are completely based on pragmatics nothing is done in approximation in such cases his claims are justificable in such situation.
If the yield was not up to the mark , why this fact was kept hidden ,why people of India were betrayed .This issue is pretty serious for our ongoing prestigious projects like Chandrayan 2 & other mega projects of ISRO & DRDO.
It is going to create a bad impression on Indian research work.
BARC,ISRO,DRDO are the organisations on which each Indian Feels proud , and we rely on them as they say.
If K.Santhanam's allegations are found to be true then it will be a very shameful for all of us.
But the thing which may strike many of us that why Mr. Santhanam was hoarding this fact,or there was some ostensible motive behind..nobody knows.
As a common man of India we can never know what is going behind the stage, we just have to trust them but I think if the truth is naked we must accept it because in long term it will tarnish Indian scholastic imgae as well as a Nuclar power state in International community .

Real Life in a Metro

Whenever I travel through public transports ,like buses ,autos,I saw & observe hoipolloi, everyone rushing towards his her destination,mens rushing towards thier offices ,children moving to thier schools,labourors moving to thier sites,each and everyone is in hurry.
It might be that for some of them there might be no hurry but still they are in hurry because its now a routine stuff,ita a culture now.
I see thousands of faces everyday but out of those lots of faces I can't forget some faces which people generally avoid to see & observe or simply don't care.
Sometimes I saw things like that it touches my heart ,I don't know why ,but it happens to me,tears roll down unknowingly from my eyes.
We all saw daily begger kids, handicapped people and people who are struggling for single penny.But we do nothing, we found such characters in most of the metro cities of our country ,we can found them lying on footpaths ,traffic signals & railway stations.At max what we do just drop a coin and move ahead & forget everything.
We think we are done with our moral responsibilty...Even I used to do similar thing.
I don't know why are we becoming so emotionless and self centered just busy in our own lives. Can you ever imagine that how pathetic is the situation where a human is not having sentiments for another human.
Life in metros is simply mechanised ,they even don't know who is living door next to them,they simply follow the rule work for five days and have fun on weekends,as simple as it is.This breed of people having nuclear families is on increase ,they are becoming used to 'mall culture' and complacent towards thier moral responsibilities and even liabilities to thier nation also, they even don't care who the hell is ruling the nation I met such people and they surprised me.
I am not a saint or social reformer , but sometimes it pinches me and I ask question to myself why there is so much suffering and disparity among privileges among the people of this world,where are we going ,what we are going to achieve with such a panicstriken life.?Why God has created disparity is it right to blame God or to blame ourselves all such questions stifle up my mind.

I want to quote one incident here:
It was just another day in metro city of Hyderabad when I was returning back to my place in local bus, at some traffic halt I saw two small girls near side bay one was around 10 and the other was around 8.One was playing drum and the younger girl was dancing and performing gymnastics & acrobatics. She was bending her body from each and every angle she might be facing pain but she has to perform. Crowd was around them ,some of them dropped coins and most of the lethargic guys were enjoying the show free of cost.I was in the window seat I w=just wanted to drop a coin to them but the bus moved on and I can't .I felt so bad don't know why, I know that my small monetary help was not going to do a big change ,but it might have added some extra bucks to thier daily earning.Both of them don't know what thier future is ,what they will be doing next day ,next year ...
Is completely a fiasco we saw regularly such incidents,but we do nothing ,those who are capable enough don't have enough time from making money .They even can't donate a fringe amount for the betterment of such peoples .
I think we are the El-Dorado nation where destitution is still in existence, we are becoming economic giant but still those who are poor still poor , those who are unprivileged are still there ..the things are not changing at grasshood level.
I don't find a certain conclusion to it , I have no answer to it .. don't know If I am right now not capable enough to explore .. or someday I might get it.
I am ending this topic with Big Question mark , may someday some one can answer this..

BJP in Higgledy Piggledy

With the recent histrionic events which have taken place in the political history of BJP
It has been disclosed to whole country that how the internal clashes were severe ,this entire chaos is proof that the party is totally in the state of muddle.
The way senior most leaders are exploding infront of media is really a matter of great concern for BJP .This situation is not just because of the release of a one single book.Its screenplay was being written for 2-3 years back.The issue is not Jinnah or Sardar patel, but the actual issue is that the seniormost leadership of BJP is not ready to take responsibility of its electoral defeat.
The ideological drift and ideological differences among party members is now infront of whole nation, the party which was once saying Strong Leadership and Decisive Government is now feeling helpless against its revolutionary leaders.
This turmoil is just because senior leadership is not accepting the moral responsibility,they started blaming each other ,forcing subordinates to quit their positions
,series of expulsions have started.
BJP is committing blunder mistakes one after another by antagonizing senior leaders one by one who were associated with the party for long & helped it to build brick by brick to the level of National Party.

I think in case of Mr. Jaswant Singh party should have shown some maturity.The quick expulsion of Jaswant Singh was not acceptable ,it was not a democratic way.It just fumed the revolutionary thoughts of other senior leaders who are now speaking publicly against party.Time has came when BJP needs to redefine its core ideology which is found to be drifting from its own standards.Parties ideological aren’t RSS may play an important role to solve all these problems.

Its an unfortunate thing for all of us that BJP is such Higledy Piglegy situation ,because for a democracy to function in proper way a strong opposition is also required .And in India’s political scenario no other party has such capabilities except BJP.So we must hope that party should overcome all these troubles ,because all regional parties will try to cash this situation which won’t be in favour of Indian democracy.
So inspite of doing chintan baithak ,they should go for renovation and reformation process to fuel the party with young and dynamic leadership so that Lotus could again Bloom.

Spread Awareness not SWINE

It has been four months since swine flu has entered our nation.But the eyes of our government are opened now when the real panic started. Whole sequence of incidents were similar to Global economic crisis. The government kept on promising that Indian economy is intact ,its immune we won’t be affected ,but to all our dismay, we were also its victim, the best thing was that the extent of this fury was less on us because of our economic architecture.
Similar attitude is followed on Swine flu.Since the start of spread of H1N1 government and health ministry was assuring that we are safe ,and no proper safety measures were taken at the entry and exit points of country.
We all know that there is still very minor population that uses aviation as the means of transport, and further there is very less is used to travel abroad.
If proper check was taken at these places the spread of this deadly virus could have been lessened.
Its known to all that this virus came from developed nations & the toll of victims is much more there compared to india, but still they are not in panic.
After 4 months when disease is taking mammoth form government officials have now started making strategies to counter this menace.
We can’t blame anyone because its our habit of doing things in Damage control mode.
Practically in a nation having population more than a billion its next to impossible to provide medical facilities as we always wished, but using a proactive approach of dealing with such disasters could have reduced the damage.

The best way to counter H1N1 is simple creating awareness among masses ,which can only be done by electronic media.But as ususal this medium is not doing the right job,they are in mood to highlight those cases which has recovered from this disease.
Media should disseminate information on precauions,it should be responsible not sensational or breaking.
This disease is curable during its initial stages and sooner or later its vaccine will be available in market .Thus inspite of creating anxiety in masses we should spread awareness ,because government alone can not can not fight such pandemics acting as responsible citizen we should follow the preventive measures and start spreading awareness not H1N1…..

Highly Inflammable Words

It was just like another politically inspired or aspired don’t know event took place few days back in Uttar Pradesh.Though there were fewer Monsoonal Thunderstorms over the land of Ganges ,but political downpours were more than enough to drench you.
This time the igniting agent was the 4 alphabet word ‘Rape’ This word has created so much political drama and hullbaloo that whole nation was focused over it.It was followed by series of events like racial remarks,abusive language & personal comments.

Both the leaders either Mrs. Joshi or Ms. Mayawati has tossed the word ‘rape’ as it was their legitimate political weapon.
Behind all this storm each of us forgot the noble cause for rape victim womens for whom rehabilitation work should be done seriously. Giving monetary compensation to them is just for rehabilitation purpose its not to compensate what they have faced.It can be misinterpreted.Use of gutterly language by Mrs. Joshi is totally uunaccpetable,and in Indian democracy its completely not,because here it hurts sentiments of followers more rather that their leaders.The reason behind is that it gives them a good opportunity to demolish things ,burn vehicles,break glasses & pelting stones .
Ok forget it ,its not going to change ,The most amazing thing was that the congress party which always blows its own trumpet of values and party culture, inspite of expelling aur warning Mrs.Joshi they just protected her and gave such statements as if everything was ok.Even Mr.Gandhi also disappointed everyone because his statements too were not for what he is know for.We must not forget that the dalit community that Ms. Mayawati represent is very large she has always got an sentimental back up of her masses, Mrs.Joshi forgot that she is taking enemity with whom.
Besides all this everyone forgot about those rejected & humiliated womens community which we were talking about, instead of that we were entangled in between cat fight of just two womens. This is the Power of Word ‘Rape’

Knights for Four Years

The day when I was admitted in Engineering never thought that what I was going to face in these four precious years of my Life.Though during this voyage of Engineering I saw lots of small & Big whirlpools of time,which thwarted me,thumped me hard,& examined me to extrme.I was not so mature or rather I should say was not ready for such abrupt changes .
But anyhow the time was passed on and I remind the famous saying that ‘The Time is the best Ointment’ its very true it is the best Healer.
That was a period and was over life was again on track,we were cherishing each and every moment of college life,be it ragging ,sports,cultural and fun of co-ed too.
Slowly the daily routine was fixed for budding engineering graduates bunking lectures,back bench gossips,mimicking faculties,eating spots canteens & unofficial canteens were the best places of the world to expel out your tensions (Unofficial canteens can be best defined as they are such places which are commonly found outside of each and every engineering college campus where one can found little of snacks and much of “Dhoomrapaan” )Throwing out tension in small smoke ring was the common phenomenon(Let me tell you I was just a passive smoker don’t doubt me )
Late submission of assignments,failing in internals was no big deal.
After such hectic schedule we the brave knights when return back to our Universe that we call as Wings of the Hostel, we the exploited ,humiliated,depressed transform in to the Lions of our Den’s.
Again we remain busy in loads of unfruitful businesses like sleeping,late night galas,B’day celebrations ,movies, downloadings,chatting,LAN gaming were the few which were mos popular. Studies were nowhere in the schedule ,it slowly became the One Night Stand activity.Because we have became the KnightRiders.

The day before the sessionals you can find some brave knights running in panic shouting,”Hey plz tell me the syallabus,whats coming in test”? Syallabus becomes the most important thing before the exam not the content.”hey plz give me this topic ,give me the notes for Xerox these are some favrit dialogues you hear on the eve of sessionals.

A studious guy will be definitely be amazed to see such bravery ,but to their dismays our knights anyhow managed to on the battle, though many wounds the got during these four years(wounds I hope u al know).
No matter finally ,End is Good all is Good. Suddenly the stage came when each one became conscious about their carreer’s.It was the placement season coming.
I still remember how enthusiastic we were for the first company which we were going to face.,shopping was at its peak.,everyone wanted to be dressed in best formals ,but again few of the brave knights didn’t care about that ,they were again found with same care at damn attitude running and borrowing “hey plz give me your shirt” .”hey I want your tie”
“Hey this folder is mine”, “some shoepolish I need yaar”
Finally they faced the corporate entry exams and many of them were through.for some it was hardwork worked and for few it was Luck by Chance.
Now again tha gala time began having hefty packages with them none of the knight was ready to study it was just party time ,sessionals,labs,lectures & projects were just thought to be as a formality which is to be done for the sake of just being done.
Gradually the day came when we found that four years are getting over the voyage is coming to an end.Our universe was going to be transformed ,a new breed of budding engineers has came behind us ,we are now going to face the real corporates.
For few of us it was a jubiliant moment and for some it was moment of emotional detachment because we were goin to loose everything that we shared for all these four years .An instantaneous Flashback was going infront of eyes ,every moment we spent just became alive for a moment.
But we have to depart ,in our own directions and sail along and alone. Before entering the college gate we all were students but now exiting the same gate we are the so called Engineers.
Slowly each of us is setteled in its own job ,some are persuing higher education some are still in search of right opportunity. Now in professional life we don’t have such privileges as we owed back.
Now just fainted memories are there which are just to be recollected and cherished.The virtual world of Internet is the only medium where we remain in touch with Ex-Knights.
At times if I lookback then I found that it was a wonderful voyage that I will love to sail again for four more years ,but not in this Life again. (bcoz four more years means NFTE…hehe)

Xtra Dose of T-20

Finally the saga of IPL season2 T-20 is over with startling & mindboggling ending ceremony.Youth youth were found to be hysterically shouting for hip-hop icon Akon & bollywood sensation Katrina , at the high end of the note everything ended with great success.
IPL cricket commissioner Lalit Modi was very excited with the success of season2 even in his speech he wanted it to be organized twice in a year .
This 40 day sports extravaganza was eyeball of each cricket fan.Although they were organized outside the country ,this tiny version of the game was huge success.But with the advent of this version of the game the hunger for more and more cricket has grown up.I can’t find a reason why so much of cricket fever is pro,oted we are just done with IPL season2 ,after that we have T-20 world cup aiting ,then we have champions league in row.And next year the Grand World cup .None of us ever thought that we are giving extra footage to cricket .This is called Overexposure.Ask any kid he can answer the team members of any complicated team of IPL teams I can bet none of them knows the captain of Indian Hockey team,which was the last tournament they won and which is the next to be played?
This season of IPl too has filled the pockets of Boards & players up to the brim,still they are aspiring for more and more ,while other sports of this nation are striving for their existence .They don’t have enough resources ,no coaches ,no accessories & no sponsers too. Knowing all this reality still we expect gold medal in Olympics from these sports persons. I don’t know when we are going to realize that equal weightage and sustained encouragement to each sport will only improve our situation.This excessive cricketmania is spoiling careers of other sports persons they are bound to live miserable lives in lonliness. Governments are proving insufficient public private partnership model should be followed in the upliftment of sports scenario in our nation .We have remarkable example of China ,they showed that with firm political will and proper planning conditions can be changed from worst to best.
So finallywe must accept that this xtra dose of cricket is really injurious to sports health of India .Now We need to put some inhibitors to check it.

Democracy Fest Over

We are now over with the 15th parliamentary elections , a phase of panic, rallies ,campaigns & restless speeches with lucrative promises has came to an end.These days sky was full of traffic of chartered planes & choppers hovering all around carrying our future leaders and rulers of our Nation.
These parliamentary elections were unique in many sense , it saw a dramatic change in various aspects be it was political aproach to common man,be it use of technology at its par,be it stronger role play of election commission. Most of us don’t know that this how mush this year we have spent on this royal job.More than 10000 crores of rupees were spent in organizing this 1-2 month event.If we add that amount which party candidates have individually spent the amount goes beyond 15000 crores .Parties have left no stone unturned to make their significant presence in this election.
Thousands of litres of petrol was burned for the campaigning despite of the fact that electin commission has fixed an upper bound on individual candidates expenses in campaigning to just 25 lacs .But as we all know norms are to broken not to be followed .
The game of democracy is very suprising on the one hand we make election commisionar as the sole power and controller but still he is made to be restricted within his own limits .
A statistical analysis shows that India’s 15th parliamentary elections budget was over 10000 crores rupees while that of US presidential elections budget was around 3000 crores which is a 1 year long process. I can’t find a reason that in such a crucial time of economic slump ,when there is monetary crisis & each nation is trying to reduce extra expenses ,why are we so extravagant.
After such a huge investment polls percentage was deplorable ,anyways that has nothing to do with budget issue ,it is an issue related to awareness of masses o participate in election process of democracy.
Another aspect of this election was degradation we saw in speeches of our so called leaders ,use of cheap words ,figure of speeches ,comments ,vulgar remarks was very common phenomenon this time.It not only showed the unhealthy political desires but also made us realize that to whom we are goin to vote .This year we saw a new discovery of unique way of protesting , shoes are not to be just weared ,they are flying these days towards politicians.
There was a proxy campaign which was fought over cyberworld during this election
Major poltical parties had started strategic campaign through ,blogging networking ,social networking sites ,advertisements over internet .I was surprised to see the pop up advertisement of PM in waiting .It was an example that how much this election wastechnically strong.
Finally people of India voted & enclosed the destiny of candidates inside EVM’s .
The only positive ray of hope that this election has shown that now people don’t find it worth waisting their votes for such a party who is not going to be ruling party , such parties shake hands & make compromises on portfolio sharing cheating voters making their vote useless.So now slowly voters are awakening they knew that voting should be done positively not negatively to just deduct votes of other party ,voting should be done for the sake of National interest .
I think its time for us to realize that its better to have very dicrete political opinions ,we must accept ideology of some major parties (it doesn’t mean that you should be a blind follower either it is against law,ethics or society)This strategy will lead to slightly bring bi-party system in India .It will not only strengthen democary but will stablise countrie development majority government without any coalition will eliminate opportunistic smaller parties which create obstacle in taking stronger decisions in national benefit.
My opinion might sound whimsical for many of us but if we want to see India on path of progress we need to do so. Stronger decisions must be taken.A quote from Napolean Bonaparte is quite evident “ A form of government that is not the result of long sequence of shared experience ,efforts & endeavours can never take root.”

Talent Hunt or Haunt

Have you ever noticed the numerous reality shows that are being telecasted over our idiot boxes? I think very few of us have noticed and given thought to this nuisance which is being continued without any restriction. The series of such programmes was started few years back, such an initiative of searching bringing talents was praised and liked by everyone, but nobody ever noticed that what will be the after comes of such shows.
Earlier they were just based on the genuine performances of the participants , the judgments were made by judges only and the live viewers on the show, but sooner it mingled with lucrative advertisement and sponsorship and the judgements are being done through sms’s and online votings.There are many a times `disputes has been created and voice has been raised against biased judgments by the organizers and the judges.
The poor silly viewer is just clapping sitting infront of his vaccum tube don’t know what ostensible job channels are doing .Each and every episode and act of the play is planned even the decisions and quarrelling of judges too(it’s a matter of TRP friends!!)

The perform talent hunt shows of dance, singing, mimicry and acting .I want to ask that only theses things are called talents can’t they think something different to these few categories of talent Can’t they organize some educational talent programmes in which scholarships aur educational rewards for needy people are given , quizzes ,reality shows related to our environment . They will say they are doing all this in the name of cultural talent and say they are nourishing and flourishing cultural roots, infact they are just polluting young minds .They are making youth to day dream ,they make them to think that money can be made in a day or two, the name and fame they can get through reality shows is not long lasting.
When will we understand that imitating others can create trouble to us .Similar to Americal Idol we started Indian Idol, UK’s famous show Who wants to be millionaire we started KBC (and every one knows the only man who became millionaire was only Mr. Bacchan the host of this show charging huge sum), similarly many dance shows we started ,.Every one knows how many new talents these shows has given we can count them on fingers, and few days later they get fainted away.. They are not fools who will give chances to newcomers , afterall it may create threat to those who are established( and are now woking as judges of the show ).

The overcrowding of such shows over TV channels is not exploring new talents despite they are exploiting talents.It must be given some pause , so that the best comes out .
Now their target are childs , launching new shows liitle champs, n blah blah…
They are diverting these germinating talents from studies towards small screen. Its really terrible to watch so small kids doing such tough dances singing and acting , my views might be contradicting to few people but many of us don’t know that these kids are put on rigorous training of dace practice ,singing and acting . Parents are so much overwhelmed with the charm of small screen that they are promoting their kids to join dance classes, singing classes at very early age , it has became prestige issue for parents that their boy or girl should appear next on tv screen. At which stage child should remember his syllabus he is singing songs like any other mature singer ,think about the database of songs in his /her memory or dialogues of acting. I can bet he might be not knowing the meaning of many words that he is spelling at this early age.

Each child watching these super kids on TV wants to imitate like them , they are doing mimicry cracking dirty jokes of dual meaning . Nobody is giving attention towards all theses mishappenings everyone is enjoying the name fame and money thus parents are happy , sponsors are happy and TV channels nothing more to say they are the happiest person.
I think we must implement some restrictions over such shows and organizers .If we want talent to grow let it grow in all directions why only vertically or only horizontally .Come up with new theme of shows which may stimulate young minds , which may infuse youth with education & dedication to learn and promote scientific knowledge. Don’t make them day dreamers and sell dreams to become celebrity in a night .Other than celebrity there are lot more people who live and contribute in proper functioning of this social engine of our society like engineers ,doctors, teachers, scientists and managers .So now its time to think out of box and promote young minds towards knowledge because its an age of knowledge and Knowledge is Power & that Indian youth needs more.
