The Job is Yet not Done!

After 2 months of great show of MahaKumbh of democracy Indian LokSabha elections finally the wait is over people of India,has given the mandate to a new leadership.This is the first time in history that a non congress government with full majority has came in to power. It has been long era of a decade for UPA goverment,whose report card of these 10 years is not so impressve. People of India were overladen with burden of inflation,corruption and social insecurity. India needed a change ,a change in the way governance should be done,a change in leadership whom no one say as puppet or a dummy government.We all have proved this year that yes we have the real power in our casted votes,yes we can show the door to one who is not performing.This is the first time we rated government on basis of performence not on basis of lucrative promises of monetary benefits, or "Sickularism" (secularism which is the most sellable word in political dictionary).

Since Independence every Lokasabha or assembly elections were fought on these silly grounds,poverty was still an issue in 1951 when first loksabha election was fought,same was with unemployment,farmers,villagers,infrastructure,and destitution. All these Hit jargons were actually never resolved by any government,initially post independence sincere efforts has been done by implementing 5 years plans,but gradually willingness and determination of political class started decling,funds and resources were used for mutual benefits by politicians and beaurocrats.(which we call 'Baabuism' it sill prevails).And hence the problems and issue always remained the same though 6 decades passed but Roti Kapda & Makaan are still the basic need of common man.

Decade of 2000 was a decade when electronic media and cyber world is growing rapidly, a lot more young generation in their 20s-40s is more aware of the youth which was some 2 decades back.This class of youth is more connected,more curious and assertive about their rights.They are questioning why,who,what? to our representatives. This techsavvy class was the gamechanger this loksabha elections.They played pivotal role in helping India choose whom to give power for next 5 years. It doesn't means that once formation of government is done things will go smooth,everything will fall in place and scenario of Indian economy and basic problems of common will be solved. No,it is not going to happen.
Actually,hereonwards,role played by this younger generation becomes more crucial.We need to be more vigilant about functioning and monitoring of our representatives,so that they are always at their toes to achieve what they are appointed for.And we should also reciprocate by doing our jobs honestly,say no to bribes,pay taxes,respecting law and orders,respecting and avoid misuse of public properties,cleaniness,acting as whistleblowers we can do a lot to help them achieve our common goals. We must admit this fact that we expect a lot but we do not contribute from our end,contribution is not monetary ,it can be of any kind,suppose when we are in to some mall or some showroom we do not litter here and there,we do not spit.Is there some kind of fear do we have? but when we are in to Indian railways or in government offices ,hospitals we litter as if it is a big dustbin given to us,we never think about hygiene,why so? Similarly when you travel abroad and driving to some place,you try to abide the traffic rules of that country ,is there some kind of fear or what is that force which prevents us violating rules. The answer is offcourse is the Fear and humiliation which we might have to face if caught ,we must admit it.

Why we do not have such fear here in India,we treat roads as worthless dustbins,railways are meant to be dirty,traffic rules we keep in pocket.Traffic Signals are just colorful lights.There are numerous incidents where we never bother about these small activities in our day to day life. Once we think upon all these very basic etiquettes and social life changing activities we can make existing things work much better,it will in return help government to spend less money on managing all these cleanisness and check over law and order.
Hence a little effort from our end can make the difference,governing body is not a Magician who can just wave the magic wand and things are done. By casting our votes we showed that yes we are responsible citizens,now let us show the world that yes we are also doing our part honestly.Then only picture can change we will be able to see the difference in no time.So lets begin..
