Again that auspicious day has came when all the love birds all over thw world try to fly over cloud nine. The Valentine’s day an ocassion which now has became inevitable event for every Indian youth.
Valentine day generally portrayed as day to endear your love to your soulmate,it is the day when young hearts can only giggle and swing arm in arms and let their heart speak without anyone’s concern. But this love day which is an outcome of western school of thoughts is not only contrained to these limits.Historically this day was meant for expressing love br it for mother, father sister, brother or love towards humanity.
There is no predefined rules that this day is where boys and girls have freedom to express their love .In fact this god gifetd feeling doesn’t requires a particular assigned day to express yourself, but as we have certain specific occasion to celebrate melancholy each an every event of life so do we have for love.
In the last 2 decade this V-day has grown up immensly. Not even in metropolitan cities but also in tier 2 cities and small towns are also influenced with this new festival of love in their itinerary.
But as we know in India we have so called social activists who have the sole responsibility of morality nad ethics on their great shoulders and they consistently are trying hard to save our society from this western festival of love symbolising it with vulgarity in public.
Every year they become active only before 14th february. In actualy these moral police are the group of people who don’t have any concern with the core issues of our society ,these are seasonal uneducated, narrowminded activists whose working methodology is similar to orthodox Talibani ideology.
They go in masses and start kicking ,beating, dragging couples in parks ans restaurents where people go to spen few lighter moments of their own personal lives.
These activists saw a lover couple in each anevery boy and girl couple ,and there are cases when they have beaten brothers and sisters ,husband wife as love birds.
I dont understand that why they are fighting for who they are trying to protect from cultural invasion .Publically insulting women is the way they are trying to counter to this day.
Such incidents reflects that though we claim to be modern but how socially backward we still are.
How helpless we are to fight against this social moral police who is taking laws in their own hands ,we are living in free society where we have freedom to do whatever we wish untill it violates social norms.I don’t think that India culture is so rigid that it is not able to assimilate this western concept of expressing love within our own cultural boundaries.
These seasonal activists don;t have any rights to invade privacy of others. There are so many noble causes for which nothing is being done , why don’t these social contractors volunteeer themselves against, poverty, child labour, women trafficing ,corrruption, that will definitely help India to grow and flourish.
This social conservatism is going to lead us nowhere, the need of the hour is to open our senses and broaden our ideology so that at least we can save our coutry from such social intolerance.

Hidden Dragon Crouching Terrorism
Few days back there was a breaking or I should say bursting news ,on which all news channels were shouting loud. Dragon has captured our land, and has crossed the LAC (Line of Actual Control) .(For newbies Please note that Dragon is none other than our nappy friend China Hindi-chini Bhai bhai ..nice pj)
We usually call our firend with this sweet nick name 'Dragon'. I am unable to understand that why such event outburst all of sudden , we all know this fact very well that China was never a sincere friend of India ,its hostile diplomatic policies and status towards India was never trusworthy.
And after war of 1962 this fact was much strengthened that China is trying to increase its influence in south east Asia by crossing the boundaries either its in sikkim or in Arunachal.
And now this time whn it came to Laddakh we again started yelling Dragon-came Dragon came..the worthless job that we always do seeking help from international community.
It is similar to that when a weak ,thin pathetic kid is threatened by some Fat,large mammoth size boy who snatches and says its mine!!
And the poor kid starts weeping ,looks for someone to help him to get his piece of cheese.
Somewhat similar is India's stand towards China, actual problem is that we never put forward our correct stand towards China. Our foregin policy and policy makers never took a strong stand in these matters.
There is no consent over the LAC, Macmohan Line in Laddakh is still not accepted by Chinese government and sooner or later they try to violate it.They had established their check post, airbases and roads near LAC. All this events indicates the hidden intention of China. They want to show their supremacy and entangle India in such disputed issues, diverting India's main focus from growth and development to war and destruction.
Sometimes Chinese hackers try to intrude our administrative departments posing a threat to national security, its a part of well planned Chinese strategy under which they are working.
The pace with which China is growing and gaining political influence over the world is inevitable.Even the Uncle Sam also accepts that pivot of coming century will be China. On economic front also chian is 3rd largest economy in the world and sooner going to overtake the 2nd largest economy of Japan.
According to reports China will bypass America in a year as worlds largest manufacturer. Its rising manufacturing competitiveness is not just low cost and medium technology but increasinly in hi-tech as well.
India has to face 2 biggest challanges in coming future from Eastern front China and on western front from Terrorism backed by Pakistan backed by China( famous proverb 'enemy enemy are friends').
Hence its a win-win situation for China, because they knew this fact very well that only India is the nation which can beat them any time in near future and has the capability to become superpower.
But its very disappointing that they are using our weakness as their strength ,by which they can push back India off the growth track. Not only encroachment on borders but both these neighbours of India are using proxy war strategy
against us, like circulation of fake currency in economy, illegal arms and ammunition supplies., terrorist attacks and now cyber attacks by chinese hackers.
Have you ever heard of any terrorist attack in China or any serial blast in China.Though China shares borders with Afghanistan,Pakistan where all extremist groups reside .
The reason is that they are firm in their policies and strategy no matter which government is in the rule. While in India policies keep on chnaging by change of government, we do have Shimla pact but still need to say forcefully that no its our land. this is really pathetic.
Our modest and pamphering approach on such crucial issues is making India's image as a soft state. When uncle sam visits China its tone is totally different they pat the back of China.
Why to blame others when we ourselves need introspection in our attitude an policies which we keep following..
If India really wants to get rid of these two big threats from its neighbour then we must be firm in our stand towards our foreign policies.
Despite of our grown importance in IT, space reserach and Nuclear power still we are far behind where our voice has some weightage.
Need of the hour is to transform India from a soft state to a assertive nation, which has clear strategy and policies to deal with external threats to maintain its Integrity and growth pace.

Small is really that Beautiful?
The prevailing agitation going on over formation of Telangana has intensified demands for further new smaller states. India presently has 28 states and 7 Union territories.
Everyone is demanding Telangana are in high spirits ,as if they are fighting for some nobel cause like freedom from imperialistic country which has made them slave as we were in pre-independence period when we were fighting for independence of whole nation.
I don't know whether this is common notion with everyone but I felt like because the way people are protesting and sacrificing their lives(voluntarily committing suicides). One can only presume if such kind of intense agitation might have done against Britishers, India might have got glory of independence much earlier.
oming back to the core issue, in democracy right to raise voice is given to everyone, but the way we are misusing this powerful tool no way symbolises democratic pattern.
Our politicians are so overwhelmed with their political ambitions, that they even don't mind using youth and their sentiments as weapon for separatist ideology.
They portray such picture of new regime that common man is succumbed to follow them blindly.
Few days back newspapers reported that continuous agitation in Andhra has caused a massive loss of Rs 3000 cores in a month. Hyderabad which is the cynosure of most o IT companies is now causing itching in their eyes. This will not only cause migration of investors it will also raise doubts in the mind of foreign investors before investing in other parts of our country. This is neither a win-win situation for people of Andhra-Telangana nor for Indian Industry.
Moreover the notion of smaller states was always in controversies.Making smaller states is not only the solution to problem.
people driving this agitation support it by saying that smaller states make better governance and superior economic performance. But does a Telangana carved out of Andhra automatically menas lesser transmission losses in power, improved distribution system ,loss in corruption ??
Would smaller state automatically improve attendence of primary teachers in rural schools and doctors in villages? would it automatically rein in the burgeoning fiscal deficit of state government??
We often tend to confuse a smaller state with happy and prosperous state, with greater local participation and thus greater accountability in delivery of services, which may or may not be the case.
Infact at least in short and medium term cost of administration will increase, we need to duplicate the available resources for a new state.
We should focus pragmatically on improving current administrative efficiency rather that demanding for new state, not just fulfilling our political ambitions keeping at bay the aftermaths.
If we take a look towards performance of all under performing states of India we can see that they all are not bigger states like UP Rajasthan, MP, there are smaller state of northeast also which still are lagging behind.
Demand for smaller states is a guise for grabbing larger share of smaller kitty (or vice versa).Howe ever there can be no end to primordial passions and sentiments for carving out smaller states.
Some of us might get impressed by number of states in US, but we must not forget that states which are economic propellers of US economy are bigger ones like California ,Texas, Illinois, NewYork.
The need of the hour is strong institutional framework, rational approach in public distribution system. Regional backwardness can only be eradicated by improving all above factors only.
If we don't take these incidents seriously, the day is not far when we will listen voice for demanding separate state for Marathis, Brahmins, kshatriays, and so on..
India will again convert in t small provinces and will again wait for some new East India company to come and exploit us.

Marathi or Indian ?
Marathi manus is back with bang. But this time the concept is much weird na unacceptable.Shiv sena supreme Bal Thackrey and his nephew raj Thackrey are again trying to play with marathi sentiments that will only give them short term name and fame.
The recent controversy arised over Sachin Tendulakar’s statement is absolutely a response which came because of political frustration from Thackrey camp.
They themselves don’t have any agenda of their own, it is just a shear frustration which erupts occasionally.
I think India not only have external disintegration threats but also such internal threats from our responsible leaders who never miss a chance to play the political dice using such concepts which can have more devastating affects rather than any other threats.
Raising doubts over Sachin tendulkar's patriotism is something untolerable, each and every Indian knows what Sachin tendulkar meant for Indian and Cricket. He has taken Indian cricket to such heights which are now dream for others.
Such Mindset of regionalism and statement which could damage the national integrity are against concept of nationality.
I I think these people should not forget 26/11 attacks .The NSA soldiers which came from all around India were mot all Marathis, they sacrificed their lives to protect Indians.
Each and every soldier firstly an Indian not Marathi ,Gujarati, Punjabi or blah blah..
Such acts of over possession over Mumbai and Maharashtra has raised voices all around India.
It seems a big joke when we call ourselves a democratic state but when we use our national language to take oath in Assembly house MLA's are being dragged, abused and beaten like a pick pocketer. Its a slap on our constitution.
The sole owners of Maharashtra openly challenge that they will see those who so ever takes oath in Hindi . Our poor central government seems silent spectator , which can only roar but cannot bite .
The right to freedom was given to raise your voice against injustice , but here this right is successfully used to disintegrate India and Indians.
This recent act has brought a lot of criticism and shame for Indian politics.
Why we have forgotten the nationalism , instead of it we are following regionlaism just for sake of vote bank politics.
We don't know when this mindset going to change...?
