Western Disturbances of UP

UP a state which is always in news for multiple reasons. It is among the largest state of India and plays a pivotal role in central politics in very Loksabha elections.Poltical mightiness can be imagined this state alone sends 80 MPs to the Parliament. It is the only state which has given 8 Prime Ministers till date. If UP was an independent nation, it would be the world's fifth most populous country. It is a very different state from rest of the states in country ,it is state of maximum pligrimmage cities ,Uttaranchal land of Dev or Devbhoomi was also part of UP, it is the birth land of Ram and Krishna. This is the state blessed with heavenly holy rivers like Ganga ,Yamuna,Saraswati.A land of history,mythology,knowledge and religious harmony.



UP is again in news from past 1 year, not for some positive achievement and representational work but instead this state is again engulfed in communal violence. More specifically western UP is badly suffering from this stigma.Western UP consists of cities Meerut,Saharnpur,Muzaffarnagar,Shamli,Mooradabad,Bijnor,Pilibhit etc

This western belt is living on molten lava which keeps on erupting after some interval of time, and from past 1 year this lava is becoming red hot more hot. People living in this region are aggressive in nature and this aggression is being capitalized by opportunist extremist groups. Their intentions are very clear ,they just want to create an environment of fear and mistrust and polarization of communities on the basis of religion and caste.

If we analyse all the riots occurred in past 1 year all of them were ignited from a small dispute and gradually things have gone awry .As per home ministry there were 56 incidents of riots and violence till June this year. The state is currently ruled by SP government and was alternatively ruled for12 years by SP and BSP governments. Both of these governments were two faces of same coin. During SP regime it is termed as ‘Gundaraaj’ which they always proved correct,SP government never let us down,law and order and crime rate spikes up and so called Netagiri becomes dominant all over their regime.

The basic problem with SP government is that their fundamental laws of politics are based on vote bank politics,which includes securing minority votes especially Muslim votes ,to gain their confidence they go up to any extent,they are ready to mend policies ,liberate free terrorist which were captured by forces, they also give subsidies and wages for doing nothing. Moreover family planning is also not promoted to a particular community which in long run will generate more votes to them.This favoritism to a single community and negligence to rets by and large has gradually created negative sentiments in another majority of people living in this state.In short it can be termed as ‘Policy of Appeasement’ of 22nd century where winning election on basis of gaining vote confidence of a particular community and neglecting others.

Similary when BSP government rules ,madam tries to pacify all backward classes by doing all monetary benefits to them,despite of improvising their financial condition by providing education and health facilities to backward and down trodden sections of society.Wasting public money on larger than life parks,which gives you feeling of Stonehenge of Peru. Extravagant expenditure on worthless monuments (irony is that they are actually worth billions of hard earned money of common man).Negligence of other sections of society again created dissatisfaction among people,and kept on germinating.Comparitive to SP regime BSP regime seems marginally better in law and order conditions.
This dissatisfaction, negligence and favoritism to a particular community or section of society ,worked as slow poison which by the time got so intoxicated and hazardous that it burst out in the form of riots.

Riots cannot be justified on above logics as well,riots should be condemned ,extremist should be punished,but the above higher level facts tries to depict the scenarios why such sentiments are growing and growth of such sentiments gives rise to opportunist and extremist to fuel this dormant spark in different different forms, Saharanpur riots,Muzaffarnagar riots,Shamli,Mooradabad,Meerut, and so on.

Once an incident occurs then starts the blame game and everyone shrugs off ,centre says state government is responsible and state says central government policies were the root cause.Indian democracy is designed in such a way that if each department or each government entity works honestly there will not be such tussle and things can be sorted out easily.

It is of no use to highlight the life losses and public property losses which are aftermaths of these riots,it is sufficient to say that UP tops in toll in every aspect, which is truly shamefull. A land of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna is totally soaked in blood,people are becoming blood thirsty and slowly this Ganga Yamuna tehzeeb is going to be abolished if we are not awaken on time.

As per an excerpt from Osho conversation , a man ask him when we will get freedom from these blood sucking politicians?
Osho replied,saying your question is irrelevant ,it doesn’t matter who sucks your blood or who exploits you,until and unless you are aware someone or other is going to exploit you, it can be politician, it can be dictators or emperors anyone, your question should be when we will be awakened and enlightened so that no one can exploit us.
Hence the of hour is inclusive growth for all,greed of power in politics is the root cause of such massacres and shameful incidents.This never ending greed has divided us in past and gave opportunity to East India company to penetrate firm roots for more than 300 years over Indian subcontinent, now we can not similar parasite to grow on our land again.
